Overview
MyPickleGroup offers an optional SMS messaging service to keep you informed about your pickleball games and community activities. This service is completely optional and requires your explicit consent to participate.
How to Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number in your MyPickleGroup profile and enabling SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages from MyPickleGroup at the number provided.
Message Types & Frequency
When you opt-in to SMS notifications, you may receive the following types of messages:
- Game Time Changes: Notifications when a game you're participating in has a time change
- Game Cancellations: Alerts when a game you're attending is cancelled
- Game Reminders: Reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before scheduled games
- Urgent Group Updates: Important announcements from your group organizers
Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your game participation and group activity. You may receive up to 10 messages per week during active periods, though most users receive 2-5 messages per week.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to or from your mobile device. The number of messages you receive will vary based on your game participation. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your specific messaging plan.
How to Opt-Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- STOPReply STOP to any text message you receive from MyPickleGroup
- •Log in to your profile at MyPickleGroup.com and disable SMS notifications
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages will be sent unless you opt-in again.

Managing Your Preferences
Once you create a free account at MyPickleGroup.com, you can fully customize your SMS preferences by:
- Selecting which types of notifications you want to receive
- Setting notification preferences for different groups
- Updating your mobile phone number
- Completely opting out of SMS notifications
Access your SMS preferences by navigating to Profile → SMS Preferences after logging in.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your phone number and SMS preferences are protected under our Privacy Policy. We will never sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is only used to send you the notifications you've explicitly opted in to receive.
Important Notes
- •No purchase is necessary to use MyPickleGroup or receive SMS notifications
- •SMS messaging is available for U.S. and Canadian mobile numbers
- •Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
- •You must be 18 years or older to opt-in to SMS notifications
